Do-It-Yourself Data saving

Doing things yourself is a rewarding concept.  Nothing feels good than getting the job done.  Now days with the Hg channel, YouTube and some home remodeling websites, even the most novice can practically remodel a bathroom on their own.  However, this does not apply to all industries, and data recovery is assuredly not one of those industries.

When a user has suffered a hard drive failure, and has lost all entrance to their data, often a bit of panic and a loss of rational plan ensues.  In many cases an whole company may be at stake, or there may be 10 years worth of digital photos that have been lost.  The steps you take following a hard drive crash can be the discrepancy in the middle of getting your data back and losing it forever.

Western Hard Drive

There are a few, I guess you would call them, hardcore data recovery message boards out there.  I don't share in them, but I do lurk quite often. These are places where ideas and data flow freely surrounded by individuals within the industry.  The commerce as a whole is severely fragmented.  We don't work together like people do in other industries.  There is no real sharing of technology or information, so these message boards are easily the only place to do that.  What is disturbing is that we are seeing more and more posts where people are asking how to accomplish some very principal data recovery practices on their own.  people are asking things like how to do their own headswap on a 500Gb Western Digital hard drive.....these drives sometimes make Me sweat bullets when I get them in for recovery, so I can't imagine anything just giving it a shot with any hope of success. On most of these message boards the first words arrival from those with any knowledge of this type of work is "send it to a pro", but more and more we are seeing people who just refuse to do that. I believe many think this commerce is some sort of scam, but there is a presume it costs so much to recover data, and when you try to do it yourself or you send it to some guy who says he can do it for 9, you'll find out what that presume is.

Do-It-Yourself Data saving

With the wealth of data available on the Internet, coupled with videos showing the process, it's no wonder we have seen so many more drives arrival in with significantly more complicated issues than just a uncomplicated head crash.  Now, I will confess, my company is one of the few data recovery providers with a incorporate of videos on YouTube easily showing a full recovery on both a laptop and desktop hard drive.  Both of these videos were shot within our clean room environment, and show much of the process.  We did this for two reasons, and neither one of them is meant to be a "how to" guide.  We plainly wanted to share with our customers what it is we do, because many people are intelligent and easily have a thoroughly wrong idea about the process.  The other presume was to differentiate ourselves from the other clubs that may have a flashy website but don't easily do their own recovery work.  We want our customers to feel determined that we are the real deal.  Unfortunately I get at least 4 or 5 emails a week from people basically saying thanks for the video, because now they feel like they can attempt to do their own recovery.  What they don't take into consideration is, those videos thoroughly edit out our process for unloading, reloading, and aligning heads, not to mention the fact that a good deal of perceive is required.  Just following what is in those videos will do nothing but cause your data to be thoroughly unrecoverable.

As this trend of "do-it-yourself data recovery" grows, so do the cases we get in that are plainly unrecoverable. We get more and more drives in these days where the platters are covered in finger prints, the heads are grotesquely bent, or incompatible electronics are affixed to the drive.  Even if you don't attempt the recovery work yourself, you Must be rigorous about who you take your drive to initially.  Just because some big-box sell giant sells computers and has some nerdy seeing guys behind the counter with white shirts and black neckties, does not mean they know what they are doing when it comes to data recovery.  Just because a big retailer or computer service town advertises that they do "data recovery", does not mean they easily do.  At best they have some commercially available software for uncomplicated recovery work, but even that can be easily done wrong.  We've had 4 jobs come in recently that ended up being unrecoverable because just such a place had technicians that were willing to gamble with the customer's data.  It's easily something that angers me.  I wouldn't care if my company received someone else drive ever, as long as these sell store "data recovery pro's" don't lose someone else person's principal data because of their carelessness.

In closing, many users get exactly what they should expect from do-it-yourself data recovery, and that is a total loss of data.  If data recovery is out of your price range today, and the data is not time-sensitive, plainly put the drive on a shelf and save up the money until you can send it to a reputable company.  Most clubs don't Charge anything if the data is unrecoverable, so whether way you're whether going to get your data back and pay, or you don't get it back and your not out any real expense.  Just do some explore first.  If you put a exiguous time in learning more about the clubs gift this type of work, you'll save yourself a lot of sick later.  Find out if they have their own clean room or do they outsource recovery work, do they have the ability to work at the theory area level of the drive.  These are just the very basics that any data recovery company should have.

If you put aside the cost factor, and focus on the significance of your data, you will probably make the right decision and if all things goes well you should be reunited with your prominent data very soon.

study Robots - Generating Possibilities

Men through the ages have all the time been on the quest to explore something new. Men have all the time come up with new ways to improve the way we live. Robotics is one of those inventions of men that have attracted much attention, study and discovery.

Many types of robots are being industrialized in labs all over the world. While some are already performing tasks, these robots are being improved to achieve other greater functions. Also, they help humans into newer discoveries and manufacturing techniques.

Types of Robots under research

study Robots - Generating Possibilities

Swarm robots, Soft Robots, Nan robots, Reconfigurable Robots and Haptic interface robots are some of today's robots being observed by inventors worldwide.

Swarm robots acts as if they achieve in a colony. Smaller robots are programmed to achieve functions as a group. These robots are great for espionage, looking for something that is missing or is secret and cleaning hard to reach spots. Swarms are less likely to fail since others may continue performing a specific task without having to rely on a particular robot.

Soft robots, as the name suggests, have silicone type bodies and behave in a dissimilar way. This type is still undergoing a process of improvement. Reconfigurable robots are the types that can be altered to fit a particular task. Robots also use the haptic interface technology which allows it to achieve tasks under virtual environment.

Of all the improbable robotic inventions, nanorobots are the most complex of them all. The beloved feature of this type is it has a nanometer. The view of nanorobotics is to be able to originate robots as small as bacteria to be able to aid men in the field of science and curative study. If proven to be successful, nanorobots can be used in tiny surgeries, weaponry, cleaning, manufacturing and utility task.

Overall perception

The arrival of this new discoveries generated mixed emotions. Some were skeptical while others were hopeful that these new study prospects would make life easier and more suitable for men.

While Asian countries have been more receptive to the idea that robotics and humans may co-exist, its western counterparts believe otherwise. Western countries fear that robots have deprived humans some of the things rightfully belonging to humans. For example, more population are losing their jobs because robots offer a economy way to control a business. In conclusion, they view robots as a "threat' to job security.

Problems with Robots

Sometimes, poorly programmed or inefficient robots pose more problems than effective solutions. Robots that are defective can even pose as a danger to humans. Autonomous bombs and the so called "smart missiles" have been feared by many. These types of robots are programmed to act while a given situation and this, agreeing to some is perilous since we are approximately giving these mechanical machines the right to make sharp decision that might corollary to loss of lives and property.

Another concern is the maintenance issues and long term hardware and software upgrades. Gp

Male Libido and Kidney Yang energy - The primary Chinese Herbal Key to Impotency

In original Chinese treatment (Tcm), a healing theory with a 4000+ year history, the Kidney organ-meridian theory is known as the seat of vitality. The kidney organ-meridian theory may be view of as comprising not only the bodily organ itself, but also a set of energetic and physiological functions/activities. These activities according to Tcm theory form the basis for a human being's core vitality and state of health. The kidneys in Tcm are said to store Jing or Essence. Jing is the vigor which underlies the life force itself. Without Jing, life itself does not exist.

The kidneys role in storing and conserving Jing has prominent implications for the well-being of both men and women. In Tcm it is said that too much sexual play or excess devitalizes a man's Kidney Jing. In parallel Tcm also states that the process of giving birth and nursing children also devitalizes a woman's Kidney Jing energy.

Western Hard Drive

Deficient kidney Jing often manifests in men through a variety of ways including weakened sexual drive, and or impotence. A parallel pathology within the Western healing perspective may be that of low testosterone. The two views need not be contradictory as they both reveal a similar reality albeit from a different perspective.

Male Libido and Kidney Yang energy - The primary Chinese Herbal Key to Impotency

The kidney organ-meridian like most in the Tcm theory has both a yin and yang functionality. The Yang or active component of the Kidney is called the Ming-men huo or "Life Gate of Fire". The metaphor becomes a bit more concrete when we comprehend that a man's capability to accomplish an erection is an active "fiery" process moving a involved of functions moving cardiovascular functions, blood flow, and hormonal secretion. Thus when a man's sexual fire or sexual drive is low his kidney yang vigor is often the culprit.

Many of the herbs utilized within original Chinese treatment to treat low sex drive, impotency address nurturing the Kidney yang. There is a long history of safe and efficient use of 'warming" Kidney yang tonic herbs. These herbs can be found in many of the Chinese patent herbal remedies found throughout Chinatown stores across the world. Without the inclusion of these vital kidney Yang herbs the sublime herbal sexual elixirs would be unable to deliver the much needed "jumpstart" that many men need to restore potency. Key kidney yang herbs for sexual condition include: Yin Yang Huo, Deer Antler, Cistanches, and Eucommia.

Data saving Tools For Hard Disk Failure

From a user viewpoint, the computer is only as good as the data it contains. If the computer can't boot up, it's almost useless. If it can boot up but the files are corrupted and cannot be opened for reading or writing, the file is useless. This happens often sufficient that data backup and recovery tools are a must with computer users. In fact, it's a good idea to have two copies of important data, just in case the first backup fails. Data recovery tools make sure that the backup is restored and the user can go back to using the computer in as puny a downtime as possible.

You might say that the root cause of data corruption is the hard disk. And of all the discrete parts of a computer, the hard disk is most prone to failure. There are only so many bright parts to a computer. These are commonly either fans or the disk drives. And a hard disk spins much faster than a cooling fan. A slowest hard disk spins at 5,400 Rpm, and some costly high doing hard disks spin almost three times faster at 15,000 Rpm.

Western Hard Drive

Aside from the processor, the hard disk generates a large number of heat. The faster it spins, the hotter the disk. Although the foreseen, life span of a hard disk is five years, with the continuous spinning and the generated heat, disks start to fail after three years of use. Within the first three years of use, hard disk failure in one form or other is foreseen, to occur.

Data saving Tools For Hard Disk Failure

Data corruption can occur due to any of a number of reasons. An electrical outage or a spike can cause data corruption. An improper shut down can also cause data corruption. In most instances the data corruption might not go unnoticed. Unless the file is hit and the computer does not work properly, only then will the qoute show itself.

Worst case would be when the hard disk's expert boot description (Mbr) is corrupted or a boot sector develops a bad sector. In which case the computer would not be able to boot up and the user is forced to do a data recovery as well as a hard disk recovery.

Any hard disk recovery exertion would also be useless if it does not recover the latest data. Part of any data recovery tool kit would be a backup program and procedure. For data backup, the simplest tool is a file copy on a separate disk. This is especially beneficial for important files. Recovering from corrupted files on the computer is as easy as copying from the remote computer or hard disk.

It would be great any way to have a data backup or a data recovery software. A data recovery software can program file backups to a tape backup gismo or a other drive. Windows has a backup software included called Backup.

Data recovery for corrupted files or folders should not be a qoute if the data backup is up-to-date. Windows Backup also has the premise to restore data from backed up files.

When the computer fails to boot up, it might be because the expert boot description or the operating ideas is corrupted, or the partition might be lost. For lost partitions or lost boot records, a uncomplicated file backup will not suffice. The computer has to boot up first before it can start any file backup.

Some data recovery tools have the premise to recover hard disk partition information. As with regular file backup, the recovery tool needs a backup. To recover a hard disk, either a hard disk as a whole is backed up (called a mirror) or just the partition. Market data recovery packages such as DriveClone and Ghost can backup a partition or a hard drive and recreate it to fix the failed hard drive, or to write it to other hard disk or computer altogether. These programs can boot from a recovery Cd and march to do a hard disk and data recovery.

For larger installations, there are data recovery software from vendors like Acronis and Veritas which can backup multi-volume disks and Raids using disk backups and tape drives.

Hard disk failure and data corruption is a serious concern. In cases like these when the computer fails to boot up, or the data could not be read, it helps a lot if data recovery tools are ready, in use and allows easy recovery of data.

Eu Breakup

The politics of Eastern Europe are tantalizing in the right direction away from Communism and therefore away from Socialism, something the majority of Western Europe is failing to see. Its gone down the same road and is France the first of many Western European countries to admit they are Bankrupt.

With the politics right we need to get the economics right in Eastern Europe and then their growth will help show the Western European countries that they need to convert and stop being socialist and being in a Bankrupt state.

Western Hard Drive

The President of France M. Sarkozy is trying to convert the Eu for the advantage of France and not giving a dam if the rest sink. Shocked to read the current Dutch government are getting into the same bed, when the Dutch population rejected Eu Treaty vote in 2005 and even the French voters rejected it and M. Sarkozy has ignored this historical message.

Eu Breakup

The Eu is supposed to maintain its peoples and enable a Democracy and therefore social debates should be held in each country to educate everyone about the possession they are losing, before a referendum is held in each country.

We don't want a Dictatorship, since going hard right or hard left is not Democracy and only causes issue and hate between separate groups. surely we have adequate issue already without going down the road to cause more and as history as shown fear can surely drive population the wrong way and it takes decades to recover and see sense.

Everyone in Europe should have learned from two world wars and ethnic cleansing in Sebria/Grotia. Turkey will be an uphill struggle to convert and will cause lots of political divides. Eastern Europeans have followed European graduates to the Uk to find work and a easy advantage system.

This is making London the true capital of Europe and upsetting the French and German politicians. So how long will it take for all 27 countries to link their government systems and enable the sharing of data on all things that is required to make a European Union work.

Todate the examples shown by the French and Italians are not good, since lots of obstacles are in place to stop other Europeans just buying a house and getting work licenses, even though they should not exist. These Socialist governments put in every potential delay.

The Uk Local Governments will yield their paperwork in what ever language is required so now we have 27 European and about 10 Asian countries.

European Commission has been unable to stop the French government giving financial backing to important French companies that want to take over non-French companies anywhere in the world. This bad example is now being followed by other Western European countries, apart from Scandinavia and the Uk.

The real question is the Us has been doing this for decades and it needs to stop and show a great form of doing firm Transactions. Also the majority of Europeans are against the way Patents are granted in the Us without any consideration or communication with the rest of the world and therefore making Wto agreements hard work.

War in Gaza - Is Israel Still Safe to Visit?

So the current war raging in Gaza might be putting your ideas of a quick vacation in the Holy Land on hold just a Miniature bit. But living as I do in the center of the country, and where most of the Israel population verily live, and, in fact, where you'd probably spend most of your vacation, you could be forgiven for mental along the lines of: "War? What, war here in Israel? You're kidding right?"

Living in Tel Aviv it's easy to see why things don't look so terrible. We aren't constantly interrupted by the sounds of sirens wailing through the air, rushing to shelters or taping up windows. We haven't stopped going to work, sending our Kids to school and kindergarten, or going out for a beer.

Western Hard Drive

We might be Watching more news, thanks to the blanket coverage, but are we verily aware that less than an hour's drive away, population are almost living in shelters, school is cancelled, and 18-19 year old boys are making ready to combat a rather nasty bunch of Hamas militants.

War in Gaza - Is Israel Still Safe to Visit?

Just yesterday, driving home after doing some shopping, I turned to the wife and said "Hard to believe there's a war going on just an hour's drive from here..." But she had fallen asleep, so my two littluns in the back seat giggled as I made a face. The streets were full of traffic, while population strolled down the street, laughing at underground conversations on their mobile phones while tucking their chins in from the cold zephyr whipping through Tel Aviv (yes, it does even sometimes get cold here in Tel Aviv!).

But with the war in Gaza continuing and Tel Aviv a inherent target for longer range missiles, I'm not going to tell you that this is the exquisite time for a visit to Israel. The bubble that is Tel Aviv is still a safe place to be in (as I sit typing and Watching the froth decree on my beer), as is much of Israel. It's just that I know what the Bbc and Cnn are showing and you're probably convinced that the whole country has donned combat pants and jackets with M16s slung over shoulders...

If you're coming for a trip to Israel, and staying in the centre of the country or even Jerusalem, you'll be fine. It's still safe in Israel, especially in the centre of the country. You probably won't even consideration anything out of the ordinary, except for the obsession with Watching the most recent Tv news updates. Tourism to Israel is verily taking a hit, but the Israel tourism ministry sums it up nicely:

"Representatives of the Tourism Ministry are in direct and continuous touch with all tourism business elements in Israel and abroad, through the managers of the tourism bureaus settled in dissimilar countries, and are keeping daily evaluations of the situation.

"The ministry would like to construe that the forces carrying out is taking place in the Gaza Strip and the western Negev, which are far from Israel's tour and vacation sites, and thus there is no guess for population not to continue their visit to Israel."

And you can always check out your government's voyage advisory. For example, both the Us and Uk are warning against obvious areas, specifically Gaza, but don't suggest against travelling to Israel in general.

I say come on over, see the Old City in Jerusalem, dip your toes in the Med, have a beer or glass of wine, and watch that sun set from your beach chair. By the time you've come and gone, all this will be over anyway. I hope.

The Calgary Stampede and Exhibition

The Calgary Stampede and Exhibition is rich in tradition and it is also known for the cowboy atmosphere that takes over the city, everybody gets out the cowboy boots and Stetsons for the 10-11 days of good fun. This year (2006) it starts with the Calgary Stampede Parade on July 7th. Calgary's dedicated volunteers and community supporters gift the world's largest western parade as the "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth" kick-off to the over 350,000 on-route spectators and a global television audience.

In 1912 the great Stampede was born from the vision of Guy Weadick. Guy was a renowned working cowboy and vaudeville entertainer featured in the traveling wild-west shows that were beloved world-wide in the early 1900s. He was a man with a dream of celebrating the romance of the old west. The Stampede we enjoy today has evolved from Guy's vision. He was successful because he understood that as much as things change, we need to believe in the way things were. Every year, the Stampede reminds us that Guy was right; fundamentally we believe in the same western values today as our grandparents did in 1912.

Western Hard Drive

In the early 1920, the Exhibition part was added to the Stampede, giving western farmers and ranchers a showplace for their horses and cattle. This too was later expanded to take in all farm livestock, either two-legged or four. This year, 2006, the agricultural quantum of the Exhibition has been tagged "Ag-tivity Day in the City" to help celebrate Alberta agriculture. Cattle, canola, chicken and even egg producers will be on hand. You'll see beef on the hoof, enjoy some Alberta Beef and you can grab a "I Love Alberta Beef" bumper sticker. That should impress the folks back in Long Island, although maybe you should exercise discretion in displaying in Texas cattle country!

The Calgary Stampede and Exhibition

Every year there are hundreds of thousands of tourists from colse to the world who come just for the Stampeded and Exhibition. Among those visitors are a estimate of Rv Caravans that wind their way north from the Usa on the long drive to Alaska. Some of these caravans have over a hundred units of every shape and size and their tour is timed to arrive in Calgary the day before the Parade which is all the time on a Friday and stay over the weekend, leaving on their trek Monday morning.

A highLight of the show is of policy the Rodeo. The Calgary Stampede's rodeo pays out some of the biggest prize money in the sport, all the time attracts the best riders and ropers from colse to the world and many of it's winners have gone on to win the National Finals Rodeo in the fall.

Like any sport, rodeo has its fair share of spills and thrills, talented athletes and unsung heroes. also the saddle and bareback riding events, the bull riding is all the time a big attraction. Ladies have barrel racing competitions. For comic relief (except for the contestants) there's a wild cow milking event. Every evening there are the chuckwagon races, followed by the Grandstand Show.

In case you are in the dark about rodeos, here is a petite "Rodeo 101". There are two main categories of events, bucking and timed. Bucking is where most of the thrills, spills and crashes occur. Bucking events cover bareback and saddle bronc riding and bull riding. In all three events, cowboys hang on for dear life while trying to operate the Movements of their animal and themselves. Incidentally, the "spurs" the contestants were are nothing more than a level disc and have no ensue on the animal. They wear them because the rider is judged on the smoothness of his ride and his spurring technique while he holds on to a saddle or rope with one hand. These catalogue for half his points, the other half is awarded by how hard the horse or bull tried to buck him off. To unblemished the ride he must stay on for 8 seconds; that's a long time of the back of a bucking horse or bull.

Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling and tie-down roping are the timed events at rodeos. Steer wrestling and tie-down roping are both inspired by real work done daily on the ranch. In steer wrestling, a hazed (slapped on the butt with a straw hat) steer is released from it's pen. When it reached the end of its head start, a breakaway cord automatically releases the barrier rope in front of the cowboy, allowing him to race after the steer on his horse. He eased down the right side of his horse, reaching for the steer. After he has grasped the horns, he leaves his horse (who's in a full gallop) and digs his heels into the ground to slow the animal. Using leverage and the momentum of the entertaining steer, the steer wrestler rolls the animal onto its side.

Being quick and definite with a rope aren't the only requirements in Tie-down Roping (also called Calf Roping but they are big calves!). A successful roper must also be an experienced horseman and a fast sPrinter. After roping (throwing a lasso, again at a full gallop - every rodeo event is done at a full gallop!) the tie-down, the cowboy swiftly dismounts while his horse backs up just sufficient to keep tension on the rope, runs to the animal, lifts and lays it on its side and ties any three legs together. Once he completes his tie, he remounts his horse and allows slack in the lasso rope, the animal must remain tied for six seconds. It is leading to note that contestants are fined for any unnecessary roughness.

For the final timed event, Barrel Racing, female contestants must circle three barrels in a cloverleaf pattern. Rider or horse can Move a barrel, but is assessed a five-second penalty if either knocks the barrel over. The fastest time wins in this extremely athletic event for both horse and rider.

The Chuckwagon Races were taken from the actual cattle drives, when the wagon would be loaded up, the tent taken down and the cook would drive his team up ahead of the drive to where the herd would be held overnight. Sometimes there would be two or three ranches driving together. The cooks would race each other to get the best spot to set up camp. The Chuckwagon Races at the Stampede are billed as "The Half Mile of Hell". Each chuckwagon has its driver, a team of four horses and four outriders (cowboys riding their horses.) That's four wagons, four drivers, 16 horses and sixteen outriders all vying for the same space next to the rail while racing at a full gallop colse to a half mile track. There's a very loud air horn blowing to start the race, there's an announcer going nuts over the Pa law as he calls the race, the wagons and horses are thundering colse to the track and the crowd's on its feet at the finish screaming their heads off. Sound crazy? Yes. Exciting? You have to see it to believe it. There's nothing else like it. And in five minutes, the next race is off and running and it starts all over again!

There are population who trip thousands of miles every year to take in "The many Show Outdoor Show on Earth". They'll book their rooms for next year before they leave for home this year. It's enthusiasts like these, from far and near, that continue to make the Calgary Stampede and Exhibition what it is.

Protecting Your Brand in China - Trademarks and Copyright

China is a lucrative place at the moment and many brands and companies will be planning their entry strategies. Even if you're not inspecting China for expansion at the moment it's worth taking some easy steps to protect your corporate identity in case you ever do. Here's an inside guide on what to do about trademarks and copyright in the Middle Kingdom.

Trademarking in China

Western Hard Drive

One of the most shocking things to Western companies trying to operate in the country is how surely their brand identity can be stolen by others. There's no restraint on third party trademark registrations and once person has taken your name, it's very hard to get it back. Filing a trademark application in China should be a priority for any enterprise that may one day choose to do enterprise there.

Protecting Your Brand in China - Trademarks and Copyright

And it's not just your usual name that needs to be protected; you also need to cover the Mandarin spelling and pronunciation too. Chinese consumers struggle to claim approximately all Western brand names and will happily make up their own version instead, which can mean that even if you enshrine your company's character in your own language, an unscrupulous local enterprise can trade on the back of your reputation. It's worth noting that often a failure to mark containers in a Mandarin version will lead to your own distributors in China creating a localized version for their customers instead.

Copyright in China

Here there's some good news in that, just as in many other countries, copyright is automatically enforceable once you originate something. Registration is optional. However it is advisable, China allows companies to voluntarily register their copyright over any material and doing so makes it much easier to defend your work in court. Evidential requirements for unregistered material are stringent and both time spirited and precious to satisfy, so it's a best strategy to cover yourself in advance.

There's much made of the lack of a high ability intellectual property regulation theory in China, and this is to some extent true. However it's worth noting that the vast majority of brand damage and misappropriation can be avoided by thrifty action by the current owner. With the country shaping up to offer the world's largest buyer shop it makes sense to get ready to hold onto your possession whether or not you intend to exercise them immediately.

Chinese consumers are highly sensitive to brand value and their purchasing habits will only continue to reflect this as the country becomes wealthier. Make sure you stand to benefit from this in full, by ensuring your trademarks and copyright.

The Chesapeake Bay

The Chesapeake Bay, with more than two thousand miles of shoreline, is the largest estuary in the world. Despite its size, it is basically a shallow body of water. There are deep spots (some greater than 90 feet deep) but there are lots of spots where shallow-water anglers can enjoy world-class angling.

The upper Bay includes the waters from the Susquehanna Flats to the Bay Bridge. Middle Bay runs from the Bay Bridge south to the Honga River on the east and Solomons at the mouth of the Patuxent on the west. Finally, the lower Bay includes Crisfield on the east and Point surveillance at the mouth of the Potomac on the west including Tangier Sound, to the mouth of the Bay.With the new cooler temperatures, you would think that Fall was here. It isn't. There will be plentifulness od hot days left on the Bay, but Fall is just nearby the corner, and can be a very productive time on the Chesapeake Bay rivers.

Western Hard Drive

Cooling waters trigger increased feeding activity, so many anglers focus on breaking schools of stripers because it's visual, and quite productive. In early September, covering breaking schools of striped bass are base in the early morning and from midafternoon to dusk. We catch a lot of 15 inch fish at this time, but larger fish are possible. Small glass minnows, or bay anchovies are the supreme bait at this time, so small lures or flies work well, but recently we have had luck with some Swimbaits, and big Salt water Rat-L-Traps.

The Chesapeake Bay

Try crank baits such as a Yo-Zuri Crystal Minnow or a similar "slim minnow" floater diver. Small spoons like Hopkins Shorties are all the time good. Soft plastics of all kinds are perfect choices, but a Bass Assassin with a 1/4-ounce head is a popular of many anglers that fish the bay. When blues mix with the stripers, tie on a 4-inch wire tippet. For the fly rodder, small white poppers are all the time good, and a 2/0 Clouser Minnow or Deceiver with plentifulness of flash gets good action.

Some of the best fall spots to try along the western shore in the upper Bay comprise Abbey Point at the mouth of Bush River. We have all the time found that an outgoing tide is best here. Pooles Island, off the mouth of the Gunpowder River, has lots of underwater structure and is pretty shallow well out from shore, so be specific here. The area where the Seneca, Dundee and Gunpowder rivers come together is productive most of the year. On the eastern shore, try Worton Point at the mouth of Worton Creek. There's a lot of structure here, including old duck blinds and piers. Fairlee Creek is a hotspot on the upper eastern shore. Baitfish pour out of the mouth on an outgoing tide.

Bloody Point and the mouth of the Chester River has a big tidal rip and is an additional one community hole type spot that produces. Anglers fishing the middle Bay should try Bay Bridge. The waters nearby the bridge pilings to the north and toward the eastern side are roughly all the time productive. The western shore has spots with tidal rips, and all can hold breaking stripers. Try Hackets Point, just below the Bay Bridge, near the mouth of Whitehall Creek, and try Tolly Point at the mouth of the Severn River. In southernmost mid Bay, the Solomons area at the mouth of the Patuxent River is a top spot on the western shore.

Just south of Solomons is a series of targets used by the Navy, and a popular spot for andglers in the fall. Along the eastern shore, Kent Narrows is a narrow cut that joins the Chester River with Eastern Bay. The strand nearest the Bay in the Narrows permissible is regularly the best spot, but it's hard to fish. The water against the strand is a lot deeper than the water in the middle of it and the channel, and running aground is a possibility.

Eastern Bay has schools of breaking stripers and sometimes bluefish in early fall. Just drive along and look for gulls, but if you can't find surface-feeding fish, don't worry. You can cast nearby the points, humps and tide rips for both stripers and seatrout. Poplar Island, at the mouth of Eastern Bay, has lots of structure with good fish habitat, but spoil dredging to restore the island to its primary size may have had an adverse effect.

For many years, Tilghman Island and the mouth of the Choptank have been fall hotspots. Again, breaking fish offer the best possibilities, and the points at both the north and south ends of the Choptank are regularly the best areas. Farther south, the northeast end of Tayplors Island is loaded with timber and underwater stumps. Next up is the Honga River. The mouth of the Honga is a popular striper spot year-round, but particularly in fall at both the mouth and farther upstream. The strand has lots of structure here. The lower Bay's western shore, from the Potomac to the mouth of the Bay, offers great fishing from mid to late fall. It's a hotspot for stripers and blues, and in early fall, Spanish mackerel should be plentiful. As the season goes on, and these fish Move out, fishing for breaking stripers and blues, and deep-jigging for seatrout gets better.

Along the eastern shore from Crisfield to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, not only are breaking stripers plentiful, but October and early November offer some good structure fishing. Most of the islands have underwater stump fields that hold striped bass. Great Fox Island, south of Crisfield, has stump fields along most of the western side and nearby the southern tip. Watts island, south of Great Fox Island, offers similar structure along its west side. Smith and Tangier islands, in mid Bay, both have great strand structure consisting of undercut banks, shallow flats and underwater stumps. In addition, both islands have channels defined by rocky jetties at their entrances. We have taken decent fish right against the rocks on both tides.

Winter is the worst time for fishing the Chesapeake. However, a few places hold fish, mostly along the western shore. On mild days, you can find stripers nearby Power plants. In the upper Bay, try the Carroll Island Power Plant near the mouth of the Seneca River, or best yet, Baltimore Harbor. We don't reall prefer these areas, but in the winte, they are one of the few spots that offer some performance at time

Spring is when the every year shad run of both hickory and white shad starts in the Susquehanna River, at the top of the Bay and draws anglers from everywhere. Deer Creek and Octoraro Creek, two tributary streams a mile or so below Conowingo Dam, have good runs of hickories, while the main river has both hickories and the larger white shad.

But the main event is the 6- or 7-week catch-and-release season for striped bass on the Susquehanna Flats. regularly beginning about March 15 and ending in early May, this season increases your chance of catching a of course big striper on bass tackle. However, heavy spring rains upstream in Pennsylvania and New York can turn the flats into a muddy debris-filled mess; but when the water clears the fishing can be great, as you can tell by some of thephotos here at our site's album, of the fish caught in the bay. Once stripers faultless their spawning in the upper Bay, most supervene deep channels to migrate northward up the coast, and are targeted by anglers trolling deep with multi-line umbrella rigs on heavy tackle. A minute farther south, the Crisfield area offers the same fishing, and some of the shallow flats nearby Janes Island and Fox Island offer a chance to take croakers on artificials in shallow water.

Considered a bottom fish, these tough fighters feed in the shallows much like the larger redfish. By early June, seatrout will be ready at many areas from the Crisfield area to the mouth of the Bay, and, beginning nearby Memorial Day, spotted seatrout become the most popular species for many Virginia fishermen. These fish are widespread, but the cuts and channels of Lynnhaven Bay, right below the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, can be a good bet. Tautog are also ready if waters stay cool. One popular spot is by the sunken World War Ii concrete freedom Ships that forms the breakwater near Kiptopeake Campground near Cape Charles on Virginia's eastern shore. Any of the spots that yield during the fall will hold fish in summer as well, but if there is one summer pattern to remember it is to fish during the cooler morning and evening hours. For anyone reason, by summer the "sub-aquatic vegetation returns to the popular Susquehanna Flats.

Gone for roughly 30 years, largely due to efforts by the state to control the grasses somewhat, the last two years has seen an tremendous resurgence. By July, you can roughly walk on the stuff, and it's difficult to work a boat into the area. Because of the grass, the water is clear and full of baitfish, stripers and largemouth bass. Fishing the open pockets is the key to success here. In new years, croaker numbers have relly gone up, and they are broad from early June through August nearby bottom structure.

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (Cbbt) is of course a 17-mile-long fish structure. The longest bridge-tunnel in the world, it's of course the most productive manmade structure in the Bay. Rocky riprap forms islands that maintain the bridge and the bridge pilings hold fish roughly year-round. In all but the coldest weather, striped bass are caught here on large plugs right against the rocky shorelines of the manmade island supports. From spring through fall, a cast right against the rocks will roughly all the time supervene in a striper. From November into late December (and sometimes later) bigger stripers Move into the deep holes to winter-over. You can catch giant fish then, if you can deal with cold, windy weather. Where the bridge is closest to the water, striped bass line up at the shadow line waiting for baitfish to be swept into range. If you anchor up in the shadows and fish uptide, you will of course be able to see the fish take your bait.

A Bay in Peril

Commercial overfishing has hurt many of the Chesapeake's nautical species. Soft-shell clams are gone, oysters are down to about one percent of historical populations, and blue crabs are disappearing.Pollution compounds the problem. More than 150 sewage treatment plants empty directly into the Bay. The Susquehanna River has a large amount of non-compliant sewage plants along its 600-plus-mile course through New York and Pennsylvania, eventually reaching the Bay.

The poultry industry, on the Delmarva Peninsula, is America's largest chicken farm, and thus, adds tremendous pollution from chicken waste products into Chesapeake waters. Also, the poultry manufactures depends on menhaden to yield food pellets for chickens, and menhaden are the sole remaining filter feeder of note in the Chesapeake. In the early 1900s it is estimated that the total volume of the Chesapeake's water was fully filtered in eight hours by filter feeders-principally oysters and menhaden. Today, the same level of filtration takes more than one year.

Since the oysters are all but gone, the only filter feeders left are menhaden, but relatively few of each year's hatch make it past Reedville, Virginia, because one company, operating a amount of large menhaden trawlers, working together with spotter planes, takes roughly 65 percent of the whole Atlantic coast's menhaden stocks. This does two things. First, menhaden are strictly filter feeders. They swim nearby in dense schools inspiring vast amounts of plankton along with all sorts of detritus. You can't live without a liver, which pretty much tells you what will happen to the Chesapeake should the menhaden slaughter continue. Menhaden are also the main food fish for striped bass. With the reduction of ready menhaden, stripers have turned to other food sources, notably silversides and bay anchovies which lack the oil and protein of the menhaden. As a result, we are now looking more skinny stripers that are gradually starving.

Gamefish Status for Stripers

Many Atlantic coast anglers feel that nothing short of gamefish status will ensure a recreational striper fishery. Stripers Forever, a non-profit organization, seeks to eliminate market fishing for stripers through a federal bill (H.R. 1286) introduced by a congressman in New Jersey. The bill seeks to bring gamefish status to stripers in the extended economic zone, waters more than 3 miles off the coast, and affect time and area closures for market fishing methods such as gill netting during the striper migration. Stripers Forever is of course trying to help the bay, and if you want more data on them visit http://www.stripersforever.com

The Chesapeake Bay is our home water, and although we primarily fish for largemouth and smallmouth bass, we must all try to do our part in recovery all the species of nautical life in the bay, by any and all means necessary. That means getting involved, so we can all enjoy what the bay has to offer for Centuries to come.

Why the Need to Overwrite Free Disk Space

Computer technology is carefully the most beneficial thing to ever happen to the world presently. all has been made easy because of this technology. The world has become faster and more sufficient because of computers. Along with many advantages come disadvantages as well. One of these disadvantages is protection breach of information. It has become relatively easy for possible thieves to steal information from your computer, most especially when you are linked to the Internet. Many citizen have solved this problem by deleting files. Unfortunately, this is not enough. Hackers can still get the said information from your hard disk even though you have already deleted them. Experts suggest the need to overwrite free disk space. Why is that?

Most citizen think that deleting files is the end of it all. Unfortunately this is where many citizen are mistaken. Even though you have already deleted the files and emptied your recycle bin, the files are still in your hard drive physically. When you are deleting files, what happens within the operating law is that it does not nothing else but erase the file completely. It just reMoves its reference from the File funds Table. This reference pertains to the exact space where that files were stored. When the operating does not see this reference, what it does is that it marks the said file as free space when, in fact, the file concerned is still physically inside your hard disk. It can only be deleted when someone else file takes over its allocated space.

Western Hard Drive

Knowing this fact about how computers work, hackers know how they can retrieve these files. This is a possible threat to Internet users, especially the ones working for huge companies. Fellowships nearby the world lose millions of dollars to hackers because of this vulnerability. A solution to this dilemma is wiping free disk space.

Why the Need to Overwrite Free Disk Space

The whole process of completely erasing those files from the hard drive is very tedious and hard. Some citizen believe that one overwrite will not do. They say that it will take more, possibly even more than twenty overwrites. Some even believe that the most carefully and talented hackers can still recover the file, even though it has gone to more than 20 rewrites. To be nothing else but sure that the files are no longer recoverable, many citizen create software that intentionally write blank characters over them. These applications do the overwrite several times in a few seconds. By doing so, these programs have ensured that the files are completely erased physically from the hard drive. Even if the hackers can still retrieve some bits of information, it is no longer that comprehensible to be reconstructed.

The world of computers and information technology has brought to us both advantages and disadvantages. When we connect to the information superhighway, we expose ourselves to the danger of protection breach. information may be accessed by hackers and used for their own advantage. Come to think of it, practically whatever is possible in the virtual world. This easy fact is good enough presume to overwrite free disk space. Not only will you be protecting yourself, you will also be protecting your company.

The Isle of Harris

The Isle of Harris is a small island in the archipelago known as the Western Isles or Outer Hebrides which are found off the west coast of Scotland in the United Kingdom. The Western Isles consist of over 200 islands with only a few being inhabited. Harris may ring a few bells with some readers as it is the place where the celebrated cloth called Harris Tweed is hand woven, prepared on man Powered looms, the clattering of which can be heard arrival from small loom sheds dotted colse to the island.

At one time the main village on the Isle of Harris was Rodel which can be found close to the most southerly tip of Harris. It was here that the ferry from Skye would arrive and depart but that was long ago and looking colse to the harbour now you would find it hard to believe that it could ever have been busy. The main infer for visiting Rodel today is the visit the unbelievable St Clement's Church. Built in the 1520's, and heavily restored in 1873 by the Countess of Dunmore, St Clement's is the final resting place of Alexander MacLeod (chief) who is best known as 'Alasdair Crotach). His wall tomb is the main internal highLight which has a life size effigy with a canopy/arch of lively sculpted reliefs. Supplementary sculptures appear on the outside walls.

Western Hard Drive

Today the main village on the Isle of Harris is Tarbert which can be found at the narrow isthmus where North Harris becomes South Harris. The customary village was rather small with a particular track main road but today modern houses appear on terraces up one side of the narrow green valley in which the village is situated. The addition of new road and parking/queuing area important to the ferry terminal has done much to ease congestion but, if you are driving through the main street of Tarbert great care should be taken as it can still get rather busy.

The Isle of Harris

Admittedly there are not many traveler attractions on the Isle of Harris but that is exactly why so many citizen visit annually. The unique Hebridean culture and spectacular scenery are sufficiently awe lively that the appearance of modern traveler attractions would destroy the island's charm. Saying that there are a few places to visit that are rather interesting, the already mentioned St Clements is well worth the trip to Rodel and the journey is one of the best road trips in the Western Isles.

North Harris is dominated by the imposing mountains which attract many walkers. Driving colse to North Harris is very interesting. As you turn off the main road to Stornoway you first pass what looks like a tall solitary chimney which was once a whaling station. Supplementary along the road you begin to get the feeling that you have stumble upon a private road rather than the group highway, especially as you drive the entrance to Amhuinnsuide Castle (pronounced rather like 'avan-soo-ee'). You may find it strange but the group highway unquestionably passes the front doorway to the castle and it unquestionably does feel as though you are driving through somebody's front garden.

If you are staying in Tarbert it is well worth taking the fifteen exiguous drive to the Isle of Scalpay, which is now joined to the Isle of Harris by a particular track bridge. This small fishing island once had a citizen of over 800 souls and the North Harbour would often include that many fishing boats that you could walk from one side to the other over them. Today the citizen is less than 300 citizen but there are still a small number of fishing boats to be found in the harbour and moored in varied places colse to the island. Entering from the north the first towns are the historic, pioneering Kununurra and Wyndham.

Kununurra is considered to be the gateway to the Eastern Kimberley. Although the township is relatively young it is placed on an ancient landscape. An irrigation theory has created a permanent waterway from a series of waterholes and is very beloved with the tourists. The Kununurra Lake is a splendid stop over for water sport lovers. Lake Argyle is so big it could almost be classified as an inland sea and a great spot for canoeing and bird Watching. The top point in the region is Kelly's Knob and a must see at sunset.

Wyndham; Top Town of the West, the port of Wyndham is a major export point for live cattle and supplies for the Argyle brilliant Mine, which is one of the world's largest suppliers of diamonds.

From Wyndham you can recognize El Questro center and Parry Creek Wildlife sustain to name just a combine of splendid attractions in the area.

Just 152kms south of Halls Creek is the celebrated Wolfe Creek, made celebrated by the movie of the same name. More significantly Wolfe Creek Crater is the second largest meteorite crater in the world and is said to have collided with the earth some 2 million years ago. It is well worth the trip. Fitzroy Crossing on the banks of the Fitzroy River is situated in the centre of some of the best grazing country in Australia. Fitzroy Crossing is 114 meters above sea level and surrounded by flood plains.

December through to March can prove difficult travelling here due to the wet season when the countryside is transformed into a sea of green. Close by is Geike Gorge National Park. The gorge was carved out by the Fitzroy River and is almost 350 million years old. This area is also noted for its celebrated Kimberley region, which includes the improbable Bungle Bungle ranges. Broome is next on the coast, celebrated for many years and to this day for its pearling activities.

Moving south we enter into vast mining areas beginning with the remarkable Pilbara. Surface 500,000 quadrate kilometres, the ranges stretch all the way down to Kalgoorlie (a gold town and the largest outback city in Australia) in the south. The township of Marble Bar is said to be one of the hottest towns in Australia. With a habitancy of just 410 people, it is still a successful centre for tin, gold, silver, zinc, lead, jade and copper.. There are also many mining based towns inland here including Tom Price, Newman and Paraburdoo. On the coast we have the very beloved Exmouth to Coral bay areas. The Cape Range National Park has spectacular gorges to Ningaloo maritime Park, a 260 kilometre maritime park with the closest reef just 100 meters off the mainland. A great place for all water sports and should not be overlooked when inspiring through this state.

Inland in central Western Australia are any deserts including the Gibson, exiguous Sandy and Great Victoria Deserts. Of policy at the southern end is the western section of the celebrated Nullarbor Plains.

Back on the coast and heading south there are many inspiring dynamic towns to enjoy as you head to the capitol of Western Australia, Perth. Towns that are also major tourist attractions and some also inspiring manufactures and/or a port activity.

Carnarvon, Monkey Mia with its dolphins and Geraldton are all inspiring centres, both as a holiday destination or commercial/retail centres.

Next we have the capital and very inspiring city and of Perth, with its splendid weather and the beautiful Swan River running through the city attracting plenty of boating activities. The city has something for every person from the nightlife of Subiaco to Scarborough with its beach culture. An hour south is the lovely restored Fremantle. An America's Cup defence was staged here and if nothing else resulted in the port being today an up to date cosmopolitan centre for all to either live in or enjoy on holiday breaks.

The Margaret River region in the south west projection of Western Australia is one of the most picturesque areas in all of Australia, with many of our important wineries found here.

The south coast of Western Australia including the townships of Albany and Esperance contains some of the most ruggedly beautiful coastline to be found everywhere in the world. The cliffs of The Great Australian Bite are actually not to be missed.

As you can see from this brief sight of Western Australia, a holiday tour by any means available to you will only leave you searching your mind for adequate superlatives to impart the experience. Maybe the most base way to recognize this splendid state is by road and car rental is freely available throughout the state if required. Why the Need to Overwrite Free Disk Space

Computer technology is determined the most useful thing to ever happen to the world presently. Everything has been made easy because of this technology. The world has come to be faster and more efficient because of computers. Along with many advantages come disadvantages as well. One of these disadvantages is protection breach of information. It has come to be relatively easy for possible thieves to steal data from your computer, most especially when you are linked to the Internet. Many habitancy have solved this qoute by deleting files. Unfortunately, this is not enough. Hackers can still get the said data from your hard disk even though you have already deleted them. Experts propose the need to overwrite free disk space. Why is that?

Most habitancy think that deleting files is the end of it all. Unfortunately this is where many habitancy are mistaken. Even though you have already deleted the files and emptied your recycle bin, the files are still in your hard drive physically. When you are deleting files, what happens within the operating principles is that it does not truly erase the file completely. It just reMoves its reference from the File budget Table. This reference pertains to the exact space where that files were stored. When the operating does not see this reference, what it does is that it marks the said file as free space when, in fact, the file implicated is still physically inside your hard disk. It can only be deleted when an additional one file takes over its allocated space.

Western Hard Drive

Knowing this fact about how computers work, hackers know how they can retrieve these files. This is a possible threat to Internet users, especially the ones working for huge companies. Clubs nearby the world lose millions of dollars to hackers because of this vulnerability. A explication to this dilemma is wiping free disk space.

Why the Need to Overwrite Free Disk Space

The whole process of fully erasing those files from the hard drive is very tedious and hard. Some habitancy believe that one overwrite will not do. They say that it will take more, maybe even more than twenty overwrites. Some even believe that the most determined and talented hackers can still recover the file, even though it has gone to more than 20 rewrites. To be truly sure that the files are no longer recoverable, many habitancy create software that intentionally write blank characters over them. These applications do the overwrite some times in a few seconds. By doing so, these programs have ensured that the files are fully erased physically from the hard drive. Even if the hackers can still retrieve some bits of information, it is no longer that comprehensible to be reconstructed.

The world of computers and data technology has brought to us both advantages and disadvantages. When we connect to the data superhighway, we expose ourselves to the danger of protection breach. data may be accessed by hackers and used for their own advantage. Come to think of it, practically whatever is possible in the virtual world. This easy fact is good enough conjecture to overwrite free disk space. Not only will you be protecting yourself, you will also be protecting your company.
